MANDY LOWRY
Industrial Designer

ABOUT ME
Industrial Designer
My name is Mandy, and I have been tinkering in design for more than 30 years. Working around family commitments, I have attained an HD average, New Colombo Scholarship, and a Golden Key membership for high achievement.
My final design project is The Oxy-Tunnel a modular bike path structure that encourages natural organic growth around it, creating an oxygen-enriched environment. A safe sanctuary for cyclists where nature can be enjoyed within the urban environment.
The Oxy-Tunnel was created to provide an opportunity for commuters to cycle to their destination in a safe, beautiful, and thoughtful way. The design outcome also gives people the confidence to leave their keys on the bench and grab their helmets instead.
